CDNetworks (KRXQ: 073710) founded in 2000, is a leading global full service content delivery network (CDN), with rapidly growing businesses in the US, China and Japan. It was successfully listed on the Korean high-tech index, KOSDAQ, in June 2005 and has continued growing its revenues with double-digit growth-rates year after year. The company recorded roughly $70 million in revenues in 2008. As a key-target the founder and CEO, Samuel Ko, has decided to fully push the globalization of CDNetworks by addressing the key content-delivery service markets outside Korea, using the newly injected 95 Million USD investment from its private-equity investors (Oak Investment Partners and Goldman Sachs).

 

Within CDNetworks, Finance and IR team is responsible for various finance related tasks such as budgeting and business planning for both headquarter and foreign subsidiaries as well as investor relations. In order to support the ever-increasing number of tasks, the team would like to offer an internship program to undergraduate students with an interest in international and analytical fast-paced work. This is an extremely unique opportunity to work in a non-hierarchical, multicultural and international team in a super fast-growing high-tech company. 

-       You will work closely with an assigned manager or senior manager on a defined topic in the area of financial planning and analysis while monitoring, receiving strong coaching and mentoring to learn as much as possible during your internship.

-       Your work will include being instrumental to analyze company’s relevant internal and external data, to document Corp Financial Plan and to facilitate global top management meetings.

-       At the end of the internship, you will have learned various tools for strategic analysis and framework, market-research, global communication styles, business process, etc.

 

 

-       Interest in finance, international business, investor relations.

-       Interest in telecommunication, high-tech and also globalization and growth/Competitive-strategy

-       Fluency in English and Korean, other languages a plus

-       Outgoing personality with ability to create relationships

-       Independent personality with willingness to work hands-on in order to get things done

-       3 months time

-       junior or senior majoring in Business Administration preferred
